Problem
Last patch Tiger Ace received some Buffs, but still some problems. The Tiger Ace is the most expensive unit in-game right now, and that doesn't reflect in his performance, even if we compare to a normal Tiger, the only difference between those two units are (and should be) only the performance of his crew members, not the equipment (the tank) by himself. As de description says: "This Tiger Tank and its crew are veterans of countless battles. Through experience, they have become experts at knocking out enemy tanks and living to tell the tale. This Tiger commander emphasizes caution and awareness over speed.". Nowadays, when you call-in an Ace you don't feel like a unit that his CREW is better than a crew of a normal tiger, the shots against others tanks ricochet a lot and the blitz ability don't match his description if we think there will have better options to fill this slot. In short, the tank does not give the player the feeling they should have.

Solution
This unit needs to be powerful (not OP) in the eyes of the owner and fearsome in the thoughts of his enemy. Thinking in that, I will propose some changes assuming your crew should play the key role in this unit:

  1. Increase armor penetration/ damage and remove blitzkrieg tactics, once the ace crew emphasizes caution and awareness over speed, right? The increase armor penetration and damage should bethink as the crew expertise in hit enemies week spots but without the hassle of debuffs (stun and engine broken), because we all know that ability is trash in this unit.
  2. This option affects the Elite Troops Doctrine. In that cause remove the stormtroopers, reduce Ace to 10 CP and add a passive in 15 CP mark who increases the armor penetration and/or damage of the tank.

Elite Tiger has increased accuracy and doubled damage of a coaxial machine gun compared to a conventional Tiger. Not to mention the "frontal attack" mode which allows you to see everything around within its long range of fire. His role in sniper shooting infantry from a long distance and repel enemy vehicles.

I understand the point of both you guys who have given the time to read and share your opinions in this discussion, because of that you have my thanks.
The fact is the Tiger Ace is now a shadow of what he was made to be. In addition to all I had said, even the mission from Theather of War - Case Blue - Tiger Ace, is IMPOSSIBLE to complete in General difficult right now. The balance patches modify this unit (Tiger in general in that situation) to a point even a single-player mission becomes broken to complete.
I would appreciate it if a developer or someone from Relic came here and explain their decisions and prognosis for the future of this unit with grounded facts.

Just a video to remember the time when the Ace (or similar) was OP, but we have to fit a point between that time and now to balance this unit in the correct way:

The fact is that this is not only a single player game, but also a multiplayer game in which balance is needed. If you like the game with bots, you can find in the fashion workshop for the Nazi units that make them OP.

Please, don't stick to this video. This is only an isolated little demonstration.
