To a degree yes bars help in the long run. But early game you can easily give up map controle and are forced to retreat.
You have to 2v1 a st pio long range befor they close the distance.
Maybe not all the time but getting positioning with good skill and micro staying out of mg fire etcetra is still going to be very difficult and makes it harder to get ammo.
Build 1 mortar gives okw the advantage. so you pretty much rely on the other two factions to build you mg gun support or at least you hope they do.
Unfoutunetly you also rely on them both for vision range either for flares or upgraded infantry sections increased sight range.
Usf has to be played very reactionary to the situation and rifleman can easily find itself kida roaming around the back lines just hoping for a good opportunity or waiting for enemy to make a push to take advantage of them being out of position.
A Sniper or kubelwagen can make it even more difficult for you.

USF has no counter to ST.Pios and now even PZ.Grens (esp. with MG support). What's the counter? There is none....
